Specifically, our laboratory is focused on:

1. Identifying and reducing unnecessary diagnostic testing, drug monitoring, and regularly oversight in dermatology.

2. Understanding the impact of financial incentives, changing practice models, and technology on medical care.­­­

3. Determining the epidemiology, patient impact, and best practices for treatment of medical dermatology conditions.

4. Characterizing dermatology practice patterns, pharmaceutical access, utilization, and costs.

We’re driven by our passion for understanding and improving the world around us.  In addition to long-term projects on alopecia areata, our recent focus has been on cellulitis, LGBT health, and isotretinoin.
